The school-business

Created in 1984 at Nantes, France, Sciencescom offers courses of high qualification that train young students for professions in the fields of Communication and the Media. A national reference, the school has always intended, since its inception, to create an education centre of a third kind, that has now become the revolutionary "school-business": a crossroad of University rigour and the intense rhythms of company life.

Sciences Com’ is situated in a 3500m2 building at the heart of Nantes. The city welcomes up to 47 000 students each year (with a resident population of 550 000). Students can access the premises, equipment and the technical infrastructure 24 hours a day, all through the year.

School of Communications and Media

Sciencescom offers courses that correspond to the Bachelors-Masters-Doctorate reforms that are now European norms. These courses are designed with an international outlook. A part of the course work takes place in London, Cologne, Milan or Madrid, in the form of seminars.

Sciencescom Services

"Sciencescom Services" is a department of the School that allows for continuing education : work while you learn.
Evaluation of competencies, acquisition of techniques, accompaniment on a new post, training programmes in the field of Communication… "Sciencescom Services" offers several internal programmes for companies, tailored to suit their needs, as well as a certificate course. This provision is destined to meet all needs of a company.

Member of the Group Audencia

Sciencescom is a member of the higher education network of the Chamber of Commerce of Nantes and Saint-Nazaire (Group Audencia, School of Design and Atlantic School of Commerce). The school is supported by the regional and local authorities and receives grants from the Council of Les pays de la Loire.

It is also the first and unique establishment in Europe that trains students in the fields of Communication and the Media. Sciencescom is a member of the European Foundation for Mangement and Development.
